01/09/22 Welcome and Introduction

04/09/22 Matters Arising
Summary of Discussion:
Noticeboard – Our joiner has been busy over the summer but is hoping to fit us in over the next couple of weeks. This will be sited near the post box outside the Duke of York at Pomeroy.
Business Model – We will come back to this once/if we get planning permission.
Siting of Stop Tap – IW to investigate further as the tap has been overgrown by grass.
05/09/22 Bank Account
Summary of Discussion:
We started this financial year with £3258.11. So far £648 has come in (grant, 100 Club and calendars). We have spent £278.19 on a map from water board, trustees indemnity insurance and the calendars. Our current balance is £3627.92
Audit of Accounts – JOD has found someone who can do this and has the documents with them at the moment.
06/09/22 Funding
Summary of Discussion:
Noticeboard – We have £568 from the Better Derbyshire Dales Grant Fund which we will use to pay the joiner when he has made the noticeboard.
War Memorials Trust (WMT) –We have now received all the information required from the Architect to be able to claim the £3390 grant from WMT. The grant claim was submitted this afternoon and receipt was acknowledged by WMT.
07/09/22 Fundraising
Summary of Discussion:
100 Club – the winners for July and August were Lucy Dicken and Ben Wilson. This information is on Facebook and needs to go in News and Views. Adverts for the 100 Club are also on the Facebook page. New members are always welcome.
Calendars – these have now been printed and delivered. LM took some for the caravan park/ice cream shop and RD took some for the pub. BW/SW and JC took 10 each. Calendars are £12 each or two for £20. RD has put the calendars on Facebook saying they are available from the pub or caravan site or to send us a message. JOD to email all on our contacts list.
Christmas raffle –This year we are selling the calendars instead. RD suggested looking at a raffle or some other fundraiser in March or April.
Possible Christmas fair at Duke of York – We will do a stall if the fair runs this year.
08/09/22 Charity Commission (CC) and Rural Action Derbyshire (RAD)
Summary of Discussion:
There is no point applying to be a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) until we know the outcome of the planning application. Helena at RAD knows we have had to re-submit our planning application and is waiting for further news from us.
09/09/22 Feasibility/Architect
Summary of Discussion:
Western Power Distribution (WPD) Visit – JB and PW met with Mark Gell on 14th July. He provided two quotes to reconnect the hall to mains electric. The quotes from WPD are based on the worst case scenario, which is bringing new cable all the way to the building and being unable to utilise the existing cable or duct. One is for them to do all the work. The other is for us to do all the groundwork. If we do some or all of the groundwork, this cannot be done on the highway.

The website is up and running and complete. BW and SW to put a pop-up on the website to advertise the calendar. BW to look at putting a form on the website to register an interest in the calendar.
